The importance of correct specification, installation & maintenance of fire door sets in public buildings…
On a recent walk through of a high school in West Sussex with one of the UK’s leading timber fire door manufacturers & specialist contractor, the lack of maintenance on 90% of the fire door sets in the building was something that had to be addressed. The responsible person from the school recognised the importance of this and the ultimate safety of the pupils under his care & in doing so has instructed a full upgrade on door sets that didn’t comply with current regulations.
